VOTER SERVICE

Our voter service work (voter registration, candidate forums, voter guides and our election website) is often the first thought the public has when someone mentions the LWV Minnesota.  The basic principle of voter service is non-partisanship—providing unbiased, factual information to help citizens make their own informed decisions on Election Day.  It is always separate from advocacy.

Online Voter Registration becomes Law

From Sherri Knuth, Policy & Outreach Manager - LWVMN
Online Voter Registration is here to stay in Minnesota! And voters will now be able to apply for an absentee ballot online.

LWV Minnesota has advocated for modernization of our voting system through online registration.

The ability to register to vote online and apply for an absentee ballot online will benefit many voters, including members of the military serving overseas, the disabled, voters who move frequently, and maybe you, too!

Thank you for being part of LWV Minnesota and ensuring that every citizen is able to register and cast a ballot!
